Implementation of ERM Framework in Energy Sector:
•Lead the development of risk registers across SBUs for operating assets, projects and key revenue earning and strategic functions
•Support the ERM process comprising of risk identification, assessment, treatment, monitoring & review runs periodically post the devlopment of risk register- in coordination with identified risk champions
•Develop and deploy a mechanism for aggregating, monitoring and flagging off risks at the sector level on a periodic basis
Risk assessment of new bid opportunities
•Develop risk report/register to provide an independent risk assessment on new Bids & Opportunities in the sector to support functional and sector level (BCM) decision making
•Prepare country risk assessment and opportunities profile for new geographies being explored by the sector
•Support to Corporate ERM
•Support Corporate ERM in deployment of specific frameworks for risk assessment in strategic areas e.g. Contractual Risk Review Framework, Risk Appetite Framework
Candidate Profile:
1.Has in-depth knowledge of Finance, Enterprise Risk Management, etc.
2. Has sufficient knowledge of Power Sector
3. Should comfortable handling financial models independently in order to make changes and run scenarios
4.Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Hard skills :
Very good understanding of
(1) financial modeling
(2) regulatory framework of Indian power sector,
(3) operational aspects of thermal power plants,
(4) business impact through P & L statements, Balance Sheets and Cash Flow statements, (5) PowerPoint skills
Soft skills:
(1) very good written & verbal communications skill,
(2) high energy level, enthusiastic,
(3) smiling with 'can do' attitude,
(4) self-confident and ability to deal with people in senior positions
